Because expert care is taken in the manufacturing process to ensure that our products perform to the highest standards, Style Crest, Inc. (SCI) warrants the performance of it’s vinyl siding, soffits and accessories ( Products) to the Original Owner(s), against defects in material and workmanship for as long as the Original Owner(s) are living and are the owners of the property to which the Products were applied (the "Property").

In the event that there is more than one Original Owner(s), this limited warranty will remain in effect as long as any one of the Original Owner(s) is living and owns an interest in the Property.

If the Products fail to be free from defects in material and workmanship during the warranty period, SCI will, upon notification in accordance with the claims procedure listed in this document and upon validation by SCI of the defects by inspection, either repair, replace or refinish, at its option, not to exceed original purchase price of material and installation.

This limited warranty may be transferred to subsequent homeowner(s). The new homeowner(s) may receive limited warranty coverage for a period of 75 years from the date of the original installation provided that they supply written notice to SCI within 30 days after the transfer of ownership. Failure to notify SCI of the transfer shall relieve SCI of any further obligation. Please review the Warranty Transfer Section of this limited warranty for further details.

In the event the Property is owned other than by an individual(s), including, without limitation, a corporation, unincorporated association, school, church, government or public entity, the warranty period shall be 50 years (non-prorated) from the original date of installation.

This limited warranty provided herein is subject to the following terms and conditions:

This limited warranty does not cover damage of any kind resulting from improper installation, accidental damage, settlement of the substrate structure (such as distortion, warping, or cracking), structural shrinkage, alteration of the structure, fire, flood, lightning, ice, hail, hurricane, tornado, windstorm, earthquake, or other acts of God, acts of war or terrorism, vandalism, harmful chemicals, fumes or vapors, misuse, abuse, normal weathering* or wear and tear, mildew accumulation, any owner(s) failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance of the Products** and damage from foreign objects, or other causes beyond the control of SCI. This limited warranty shall not apply to Products which have been painted or the surface altered in any way not authorized in writing by SCI.

SCI also warrants to you that the Products will not excessively fade. "Excessive Fading" is in defined as in excess of a Delta E of 4 Hunter unites, as determined by SCI.

• Normal weathering is defined as exposure to ultraviolet light and extremes of weather (including atmospheric pollution and acid rain) which will cause any colored surface to fade, darken, chalk, or acquire dirt or stains.
• SCI Vinyl Siding can be easily maintained by using a soft brush and a mild detergent. Refer to the Vinyl Siding Institute’s website - www.vinylsiding.org for complete cleaning instructions

If the Products covered cannot be repaired, replaced or refinished, after a reasonable number of attempts at such repairs, replacements or refinishing, SCI shall provide a refund of the (original) purchase price. SCI is providing the Original Owner(s) an express lifetime limited warranty under the provisions of the Magnuson-Moss Federal Warranty Act. SCI cannot and shall not be liable for a breach of any other written or oral express warranties, without limitation, those given by dealers, contractors, applicators, or distributors of the Products.

Any Implied Warranties Imposed By Law, Such As The Implied Warranties Of Merchantability And Fitness For A Particular Purpose, Are Limited In Time To The Duration Of This Express Warranty. SCI Shall Not Be Liable For Any Consequential Damages Or Incidental Damages for breach of any express, written, oral or implied warranty on the Products. The Owner(s) EXCLUSIVE REMEDY shall be for repair, replacement, or refinishing solely at SCI’s option, only in terms stated in this limited warranty.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages and some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts so the above limitation may not apply to you

This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary from state to state. This warranty covers only genuine SCI Products.

SCI reserves the right to discontinue or make changes in any of its vinyl siding, soffits and accessories. If the Products covered by this warranty are not available, SCI shall have the right to substitute a product, that in SCI’s sole discretion, is of equal quality.

This limited warranty stands in lieu of all other oral or written warranties. No representative of SCI or its distributors or dealers is authorized to make any changes or modifications to this limited warranty.

This limited warranty is valid only after the Warranty Registration Card is completed and signed by the Original Owner(s), and installing contractor, and received by SCI within 30 days of the installation of the Product or original sale of a newly constructed home. Failure to notify SCI of the registration shall relieve SCI of all obligations stated in this limited warranty.

To obtain performance under this limited warranty, the Owner(s) shall notify SCI, of any manufacturing defects within the warranty period and within a reasonable period of time after discovering the defect. Please include your name, address and date of installation.

Because we know that our outdoor accessories are as good if not better than the ones that you bought recently, we are willing to offer the best guarantee in the business. If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, just return the item for an exchange or refund. Most items are covered under our guarantee for a full year, unheard of in the outfitter industry. See our complete Guarantee for all the details.

Most items we sell are covered for one full year by the Timbermill Satisfaction Guarantee. When these products are used for commercial vehicles, the Guarantee is 90 days. There are a handful of exceptions, which are outlined below or on the product description pages. Only the items listed below require that you call or email us first for a return authorization. For any other item, just follow the simple return instructions on your packing slip or print a copy here.

We are unable to guarantee the life and performance of products if modified or used in a way other than the manufacturer’s original intent or if a product is damaged as the result of an accident or due to failure of another part.

Custom Made and Special Orders: Custom Made and Special order items cannot be returned unless there is a defect in the product. Please call us if you have a problem with any custom made or special order product so we can assist you.

The Timbermill Guarantee does not cover miscellaneous expenses including labor costs for removal and installation of a defective part, materials, lost time or wages, towing, lift, dock or storage fees.
